Claire Young

Claire Young's work experience includes positions at various companies and organizations. Claire began their career as a Marketing Intern at Oliver Construction Co. in 2019, where they worked until 2021. In 2020, they also served as a Research Assistant in the Georgia Tech VIP Program.

Claire's experience in the research and development field continued as they worked as a Research and Development Intern at Dorabot from 2021 to 2021. Claire then joined the HyTech Racing at Georgia Tech team in 2021, holding roles as a Brand Specialist and a Gearbox Design Engineer until 2023. Simultaneously, they served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University from 2022 to 2022.

In 2022, Claire gained further experience in the engineering field as a Closures Design Engineering Intern at Tesla, and in 2023, they will join Joby Aviation as a Powertrain Design Engineer. Throughout their various roles, Claire has demonstrated a strong commitment to their professional development and the pursuit of expertise in different areas of engineering.

Claire Young attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2023, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
