Marissa Moehring

Marissa Moehring is a Senior Composite Materials & Process Engineer at Joby Aviation since April 2024, bringing extensive experience in materials and processes engineering from previous roles, including Manager of Materials & Processes Engineering at Virgin Galactic and Composites Manufacturing Engineer at Applied Composites Engineering. With a foundation in composite processing, technical leadership, and spacecraft development, Marissa has also contributed as a Composites Lab Assistant at Purdue University and as a Research Assistant at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Composite Materials from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and Japanese from The University of Kansas, complemented by an exchange program at Kanagawa University.
