Henk van Raan

Henk van Raan serves as the Chief Innovation Officer and Director of Facility Management at Amsterdam ArenA since January 1996, overseeing corporate strategy, maintenance management, and the development of smart stadium technologies, among other responsibilities. Van Raan leads the Amsterdam Innovation Arena, focusing on themes such as fan experience, sustainability, and digital connectivity, while fostering strategic partnerships and Smart City collaborations. Prior experience includes serving as Facility Manager at the Stopera for the Gemeente Amsterdam from 1988 to 1995, where operations were initiated, and a background as Project Manager in various technical installation companies from 1982 to 1988.
