Dan Reust

Dan Reust has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Dan started their career as a Summer Intern at the Advanced Manufacturing Institute in 2005. Dan then worked as a Machinist/CNC Programmer at Vektek, Inc. from 2005 to 2009. After that, they held an internship as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Vermeer Corporation in 2013. Dan also worked as an Operations Intern (Corporate Engineering Intern) at Bimbo Bakeries USA in 2014. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Mechanical Engineer at SOR Inc. Following that, they worked as a Process Engineer at Mueller Co. in 2018. Dan then transitioned to the role of Application Engineer at SOR Controls Group, where they worked until 2021. After that, they joined Parker Hannifin as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Manufacturing Engineering Lead at John Crane, starting in August 2023. Dan Reust earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Machine Tool Technology/Machinist from Flint Hills Technical College. Dan attended the college from 2004 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University, which they completed from 2009 to 2016.
