Katherine Schuetz

Katherine (Kate) Schuetz is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in digital engineering, data analysis, and education. Currently serving as the Digital Engineering Manager at John Crane since May 2019, Katherine has successfully led significant projects for a global clientele, established lean metrics, and improved software testing processes. Previously, as a Digital Quantitative Analyst, Katherine enhanced data quality initiatives and collaborated with development teams. Prior roles include Systematic Thinker at Thinkspot, Inc., where Katherine managed a multimillion-dollar project within federal guidelines, and instructor positions at Lake Forest College and the University of Illinois at Chicago, focusing on research methods and cognitive science. Katherine began their career as a French teacher and coach, developing essential skills in curriculum design and team leadership. Katherine holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and French.
