Marco Terra has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marco started their career in 2006 as an intern at Aero Mecânica Darma, where they were responsible for technical drawings and provided technical and commercial support to customers. In 2006, they also worked as a Product Engineer at ARTEB, where they coordinated and followed up on new projects in vehicle lighting systems. In 2009, Marco interned at Amphenol-Tuchel Electronics GmbH, where they were responsible for technical drawings and prototype testing. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Sales and Application Engineer at Semco Equipamentos Industriais, providing technical and commercial support to customers and collaborating with partner companies for product development. Since 2014, Marco has been working at John Crane, first as a Sales and Application Engineer and later as the Sales and Distribution Lead for an ERP upgrade project, responsible for its successful implementation across multiple countries and sites.
Marco Terra has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from FEI, which they obtained from 2003 to 2012. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2002, they attended Visconde de Porto Seguro but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Marco has also acquired several certifications, including "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions" from Coursera | Google in March 2022, "Agile Project Management" from the University of Oxford in October 2021, "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" from Coursera | Google in October 2021, "SQL Server Machine Learning Services: Python" from LinkedIn in May 2021, "Learning SQL Programming" from LinkedIn in August 2020, and "Managing Project Stakeholders" from LinkedIn in August 2020. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Mechanical Engineer from Crea-SP in January 2013.
