Scott Schoonover

Scott Schoonover has extensive experience in human resources, working in various roles and organizations over the years. Scott started their career at Cornell University in 1994, where they held the positions of Senior Human Resources Consultant and later Director of Human Resources. In these roles, they directed HR and payroll operations for a division of 250 employees, provided consulting services, and implemented various HR programs and services.

Schoonover then moved on to work as a Human Resource Manager at Travelers from 2010 to 2011. Scott was responsible for managing HR functions within the company.

From 2012 to 2014, Schoonover served as the Director of Human Resources at Performance Systems Development. Here, they oversaw the HR function and was involved in strategic planning and implementation of HR policies and activities.

Most recently, Schoonover worked as the Director of Human Resources at John G. Ullman & Associates, Inc. starting in 2014. In this role, they reported to the Vice President and was responsible for the strategic planning and direction of the HR function, including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and internal communications.

Scott Schoonover attended Horseheads High School, although their start and end years are unknown. After graduating from high school, they pursued further education at Corning Community College from 1981 to 1983. During this time, they obtained an Associate of Science degree with a focus on Accounting. Scott then continued their studies at the State University of New York at Oswego from 1983 to 1986. There, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
