Mar Marzo has a diverse background in research, starting with their current role as a Research Assistant at the John Innes Centre. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Technician at the University of Sheffield, where they were involved in various tasks such as lab maintenance, plasmid construction, and fluorescence microscopy. They then moved on to a Research Assistant position at the University of Manchester, where they focused on genome reorganizations in the genus Drosophila.
