Eleni Gelali

Eleni Gelali, PhD, is a highly skilled researcher currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Karolinska Institutet since June 2025. Previously, Eleni held the position of R&D Scientist - Innovation at Navinci from September 2022 to September 2025 and worked as a Scientific Advisor at Arkus AI in May 2022. During a PhD candidacy at Karolinska Institutet from November 2015 to February 2022, Eleni developed iFISH, a platform enhancing the use of DNA FISH in research and diagnostics, among other contributions to gene expression characterization and digital image processing validation. Eleni's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine and a Master's Degree in Biomedicine from Karolinska Institutet, as well as significant experience in research internships and training positions at prestigious institutions.
