Valentina Buffagni

Valentina Buffagni's work experience begins in 2017, where they worked as a Visiting Research Scientist at the John Innes Centre until January 2018. Valentina then joined the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2019 as a Laboratory Assistant until March 2020. In 2020, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same university until June 2022. From June 2022 until the present, Valentina has been working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Università degli Studi della Tuscia di Viterbo. Additionally, starting from June 2023, they will assume the role of Visiting Scientist (post-doc) at the John Innes Centre.

Valentina Buffagni completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at Università degli Studi di Parma from 2008 to 2012. Valentina then pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Biotechnology at the same university from 2012 to 2015. Following their Master's degree, Valentina further advanced their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology and Bioscience from Università degli Studi di Parma, spanning from 2015 to 2019.
