Katy Rowbotham

Katy Rowbotham has a wide range of experience in the legal field, with a focus on commercial and project counsel roles. Katy is currently working as the Commercial Director at John Laing since May 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Project Counsel for the WestConnex Project from January 2017 to May 2020. Katy also served as the Project Counsel for the NorthConnex Project from June 2015 to January 2017. Additionally, Katy has worked as a Consulting Principal at Nexus Law Group from July 2015 to December 2016 and as a Legal Counsel, Secondee at Lend Lease from March 2015 to December 2016. Before that, they worked as a Lawyer at DLA Piper from August 2014 to July 2015, at HWL Ebsworth from February 2013 to August 2014, and at Herbert Geer from November 2011 to February 2013. Katy's experience also includes a brief tenure as an In-house legal advisor at Carbon TradeXchange from April 2012 to June 2012.

Katy Rowbotham completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree at Bond University from 2008 to 2010. Katy then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the same university from 2009 to 2012.
