Katherine Russell

Katherine Russell (Simmonds) has extensive experience in real estate and property management, currently serving as Director of Build to Rent at John Lewis Partnership since July 2017. Previous roles at John Lewis & Partners included Head of Build to Rent, Head of Real Estate, Planning, Policy & Commercial, and Head of Property, managing a £1.5 billion estate and focusing on growth, acquisition, and capital investment. Earlier positions include Asset Manager and Asset Surveyor where strategic direction for retail and office portfolios was developed, and a Director & Trustee role at a non-profit organization focusing on sustainable life choices. Katherine began her career as a Surveyor at BNP Paribas after completing an education at the University of Reading.
