Tina Mitchell

Tina Mitchell is a highly accomplished senior leader with extensive operating board experience in large, complex organisations including Selfridges, Tesco, Co-op, and the John Lewis Partnership (Waitrose). She is a people-first leader, focused on relationships, with a proven track record of leading teams through transformational change.Currently, Tina serves as the interim Managing Director for Waitrose, leading the business through the critical Christmas trading period. Her substantive role is the Retail Director at Waitrose, part of the John Lewis Partnership, where she is accountable for the leadership of 45,000 Partners across more than 300 shops and B2B operations. Her responsibilities also include a £1 billion physical estate investment and managing a £1 billion P&L budget.

Tina has been consistently recognised for her excellence, winning the Grocer 33 award for Customer Service in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. She is also the recipient of the Barclaycard Everywoman Executive Leader Award in 2018.
