Sudhakar Karlapudi

Sudhakar Karlapudi's work experience includes serving as the EVP Chief Medical Officer at JPS Health Network since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at PeaceHealth as the Regional Chief Medical Officer from May 2018 to April 2023 and as the Medical Director - Hospital Medicine from January 2017 to April 2018. Before joining PeaceHeath, Sudhakar held positions at Oregon Health and Science University, where they served as the Medical Director Quality Improvement from July 2015 to January 2017 and as an Assistant Professor of Medicine from July 2011 to January 2017. Sudhakar started their career as an Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from July 2008 to June 2011, and also worked as a Research Trainee at the Mayo Clinic from May 2007 to April 2008.

Sudhakar Karlapudi earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree in Medicine from Christian Medical College, Vellore, India in 2002. Sudhakar then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2008 to 2011. In 2016, Sudhakar obtained a certification in Medical Quality from the American Board of Medical Quality. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the Healthcare field from OHSU-PSU School of Public Health from 2016 to 2019.
