Betsy Cantor

Betsy Cantor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in movement therapy and education. Currently serving as a Certified Pilates Instructor at JOHN REED FITNESS, LLC since August 2023, Betsy has a long-standing career as a Licensed Therapist, Clinical Movement Therapist, ACE Health and Behavioral Coach, and NASM Trainer at Magical Years since November 1985. Previous roles include Group EX Instructor and Healthy Lifestyle Program Director at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, Early Childhood Therapy Consultant and Movement Specialist at Bright Horizons, and Curriculum Consultant for children’s movement television at The Jim Henson Company. Betsy has also held positions as Clinical Supervisor at UCLA's Graduate School of Dance Therapy and Clinical Dance/Movement Therapist at Five Acres. Educational credentials include an ED.M in Movement Education/Psychology from Rutgers, a Master of Arts in Clinical Dance/Movement Therapy from Loyola Marymount University, and a BA in Social Work and Theatre Arts from Rutgers University.
