Jacob M. Chen

Jacob M. Chen is a PhD student in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University since July 2024, following a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Williams College. Experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Williams College, where Jacob M. Chen collaborated with Professors Katie Keith and Rohit Bhattacharya on utilizing natural language processing for causal inference in healthcare. Additional roles encompass being a Teaching Assistant for various computer science courses, a Generation Conscious Student Fellow managing environmentally sustainable initiatives, a Teaching Fellow at Lanesborough Elementary School, and a Residential Teaching Fellow at Phillips Exeter Academy, among others. Jacob M. Chen also gained industry experience as a Software Engineer at Seknova Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and an AP Computer Science Teacher at Nuts Institute.
