Mark Savage has extensive experience in career development and advising, currently serving as the Associate Director of the Life Design Lab and Life Design Educator for Engineering Masters Students at The Johns Hopkins University since September 2018. With a focus on career strategies and job search initiatives, Mark connects with alumni and employers to support over 7,000 students. Previous roles include Coordinator of Career & Academic Advising at the College of Southern Maryland, Interim Assistant Director at Gettysburg College, and Online Course Consultant for the State University of New York. Mark also directed Engineering Co-Op & Career Services at Cornell University for 30 years, managed student housing at Ohio University, and revitalized career services at Salem College. Educational qualifications include an MS in Counseling & Psychological Services from the State University of New York at Oswego and a BS in English & Psychology from Ball State University.
