Curtis Podkasik

Curtis Podkasik is a seasoned commercial leader with extensive experience in the packaging industry. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at JohnsByrne since January 2025, Curtis focuses on sustainable luxury paperboard packaging for health & beauty, nutraceutical, and specialty product markets. Previously, Curtis held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing at PLZ Corp, overseeing a $350MM business in specialty aerosol and liquid product manufacturing. Before that, Curtis was Vice President of Sales for the Food Division at Crown Holdings, Inc., managing operations for a leading packaging solutions company. Curtis began the career as National Account Manager at Graphic Packaging International, where notable achievements included generating approximately $5M in new business. Curtis holds an MBA in Marketing from the Keller Graduate School of Management, along with other degrees in Marketing & Communications from Western Illinois University and La Salle University.
