Apurva Shah

Apurva Shah has extensive experience in plant operations and manufacturing engineering, currently serving as Vice President - Head of Plant Operations at Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning since September 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing EHS, manufacturing, quality, operational excellence, plant engineering, and process engineering at the Kadi plant in Gujarat. Previously held the position of Deputy Vice President - Head of Plant Operations, managing overall operations across India. Additionally, Apurva served as Deputy Vice President for Global Operations in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Assistant Vice President, where significant contributions included ensuring safety compliance, strategizing manufacturing policies, and implementing lean manufacturing systems. Career progression within Johnson Controls–Hitachi includes various managerial roles focusing on materials and procurement. Apurva holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering.
