Beth Atwater

Beth Atwater is an experienced Collection Development Librarian with a strong background in library services and publishing. At Johnson County Library since January 2017, Beth manages the Adult Fiction and Adult DVD collections for a large library system, overseeing various formats such as print, eBooks, and audiobooks. Previous roles include book reviewer for Publishers Weekly and Historical Romance Magazine, along with extensive experience at Mid-Continent Public Library where Beth held positions from Assistant Branch Manager to Collection Development Librarian. A solid educational foundation includes a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Publishing Certification from the University of Denver.
