Daniel Cheng

Daniel Cheng possesses extensive experience in civil engineering and strategic growth leadership within the engineering sector. Serving as Executive Vice President at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson from 2006 until retirement in 2019, Daniel was instrumental as Chief Client Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, focusing on the company’s Strategic Growth Plan. Prior roles at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson included Senior Vice President, where Daniel was responsible for business development and strategic initiatives, as well as Vice President and Highway Department Head, overseeing various highway and bridge projects. Earlier career experience includes serving as Project Manager at Wilson T. Ballard Company and Design Engineer at Chesapeake Drilling Company. Daniel holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland.
