Ryan McCarthy

Ryan McCarthy, P.E. is a seasoned project engineer with extensive experience in highway design and engineering. Currently serving as Project Engineer and Highway Task Leader at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since July 2021, Ryan demonstrates proficiency in PennDOT publications and various client project designs throughout Pennsylvania. Prior experience includes roles as Highway Design Engineer at Hardesty & Hanover, LLC, overseeing major transportation projects for multiple state agencies, as well as participation in the AECOM Water Treatment Design Competition as a Senior Project Team Member. Ryan also held leadership positions in the American Society of Civil Engineers and has a strong academic background with a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Widener University.
