Cynthia Garcia

Cynthia Garcia (she/her) oversees education and engagement programs in the Mid-Atlantic Region, including Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia. Cynthia’s primary responsibility includes developing and scaling One Love’s public-school district model. Cynthia also works to increase programmatic reach while building collaborative partnerships with community-based organizations. She is a passionate advocate for students and educators alike and is focused on making quality educational content accessible to all audiences. Before joining One Love, Cynthia worked as an educator and arts integration specialist for Baltimore City Public Schools, and prior as an educator for both Baltimore County Public Schools and the Community College of Baltimore County.

She graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and later from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Master of Arts in Teaching.
