Renee Sim

Renee Sim is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in design and education. Renee started their career in 2012 at Gimga Design Group as a Graphic Designer. In 2015, they transitioned to become a Freelance Designer, working independently until 2022. In that same year, they joined Better Life Partners as a UI/UX Designer, where they worked until October. Additionally, Renee also worked at Fairfax County Public Schools, where they held various teaching roles from 2016 to 2021, including Title I ESOL Teacher, Title I 6th Grade Teacher, and 1st Grade Teacher. Most recently, they joined Paladin as a Product Designer in December 2022.

Renee Sim's education history includes a Master of Teaching (M.T.) in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia, which was completed from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Anthropology from the same university, which was completed from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degrees, they have also acquired additional certifications such as the Google UX Design Specialization from Google, obtained in November 2021, and the Introduction to User Experience Principles and Processes certificate from the University of Michigan, obtained in April 2021.
