Zakaria Zaki Al Attal

Zakaria Zaki Al Attal has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Zakaria is currently a Senior Consultant for Quality and Development and Director of Quality Department at Emirates Health Services since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the Ministry of Health and Prevention - UAE as a Senior Consultant for Organizational Development & International Accreditation starting from March 2014.

Zakaria also has experience working with the Joint Commission International as a Consultant since July 2006. From August 2009 to March 2014, they served as the Director of Quality and Performance Management at Dubai Health Authority. Zakaria had also previously held the role of Head of Quality and Development at Dubai Health Authority, where they were responsible for quality, performance, and risk management programs.

Additionally, Zakaria worked briefly as a Consultant at Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) in December 2012 and January 2013. Prior to that, they were a consultant for King Hussein Cancer Center from September 2005 to March 2006.

Zakaria Zaki Al Attal has a strong education background in the field of quality management in healthcare. From 2005 to 2010, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Quality and Patient Safety at The University of Salford. During this time, their focus was on quality management in healthcare. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2003, they obtained a Master of Quality Management degree at Wollongong University, specializing in the same field.
