Rich Leino

Rich Leino is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and growth within the technology and defense sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Growth at Joint Strategic Technologies since August 2024, Rich previously held the same title at SMX from August 2011 to August 2024, where contributions as a strategic principal resulted in over $2 billion in successful captures. Prior roles include Director of Plans & Architectures at the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center, where Rich managed critical network operations for the Marine Corps and played a key role in transitioning to a government-operated network. With a robust background in both military and commercial sectors, Rich has led significant communications modernization efforts and achieved operational success during combat. Educational credentials include a Master of Science with Distinction in Electrical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master's in Military Studies from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, and a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
