David Harris. Hons

David Harris has worked in various IT leadership roles throughout their career. David began as an IT Manager at Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. in 1999 and then moved on to ByBox in 2004, where they were responsible for the UK IT infrastructure estate and internal IT support function. In 2008, they joined Achilles Group Limited, initially as an Infrastructure Manager, then as Head of IT Operations, and later as Group Infrastructure Manager. During their time at Achilles Group, Harris successfully implemented various solutions and initiatives, such as outsourcing hosted exchange solution, implementing a 24x6 follow-the-sun support solution, and upskilling staff to achieve three Microsoft Competencies for Gold Partnership. In 2013, Harris joined Xn Leisure Systems Limited as an IT Director and was later promoted to Managing Director. David led the business in achieving ISO9001:2015 certification and played a crucial role in product development, support team restructuring, and introducing ITIL processes and agile scrum development methodology. Currently, Harris is working at Jonas Software as the Group CIO & Compliance Manager, where they have strategic IT and compliance responsibilities for multiple brands within the organization. David is also the technical lead for Group M&A, IT due diligence, and integration.

David Harris earned a 2:1 Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours from Staffordshire University between 1991 and 1995. Prior to that, they completed their GCSE and A Levels at Bedford School in the UK from 1986 to 1991. David began their education at Swanbourne House School, where they obtained their Common Entrance qualification from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, David Harris obtained the certification of Chartered Manager Fellow from the Chartered Management Institute in November 2014.
