Lance Maffin

Lance Maffin is an experienced science educator currently serving as a Science Teacher at Bondurant-Farrar Community School District since August 2005, where responsibilities include teaching biology, anatomy and physiology, Environmental Sustainability PLTW, and AP biology. Prior experience includes teaching environmental science at Pella High School from August 2003 to July 2005 and working as a RET Research Assistant for Teachers at Iowa State University from June 2008 to July 2010, focusing on laboratory experiences to enhance classroom learning. Earlier career roles include serving as a Lead Roofer at Magee Construction Company and co-founding Maffin and Sons Construction, where responsibilities involved various construction activities. Lance Maffin holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a focus on Biology from the University of Northern Iowa and a BS in Science Secondary Education from Iowa State University.
