Faris Marji

Faris Marji has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Faris began their career as an Application Officer at The Housing Bank for Trade & Finance in 2008, where they worked until 2012. In 2013, they joined AEG as a Support Engineer before moving on to The Housing Bank for Trade & Finance again, this time in the role of a Senior Application Analyst. In 2019, they transitioned to Arab Bank, where they served as an Application Lead Payment Solutions_Team Leader until 2021. Currently, Faris is the Payment section head at Jordan Commercial Bank.

Faris Marji obtained a BSc in Management Information System from Hashmite University during the period of 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Jordan, completing it between 2009 and 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Faris obtained the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT service management from EXIN in December 2012. Faris also acquired several certifications from Swift, including Introduction to standard MX (December 2021), Need to know about ISO20022 adoption for payment and reporting (December 2021), Create and setup a certificate for certification on the SWIFTNET OnlineManger (February 2021), SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework (January 2021), Business Application Header (head.001) (November 2022), and Introduction to ISO 20022 (November 2022).
