Tonya Williams

Tonya Williams has a diverse work experience. Tonya is currently working as the Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Excell Academy for Higher Learning since August 2021. Tonya previously worked as a Student Success Coach at the same organization from October 2016 to December 2022. Before that, they were the Artistic Director/Founder of Journey Productions since August 2005. Tonya also served as the Youth Program Manager at Camp Fire Minnesota from October 2015 to October 2016 and as the College & Careers Youth Manager at Pillsbury United Communities from May 2013 to October 2015.

Tonya Williams attended North High School from 1997 to 2000. After graduating from high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies at Augsburg University from 2007 to 2010.
