Dustin Michels

Dustin Michels is a skilled software engineer with experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently employed at Journey since November 2021, Dustin focuses on building integrations for a secure identity network and contributing to backend development. Previous experience includes leading a data engineering team at The Collaboratory, creating a scraping pipeline with micro-services and Apache Kafka, and serving as a data scientist at AFRY, where Dustin developed machine learning models for energy prediction. Other notable roles include full-stack programming and data analysis at Clean Chemistry, mentorship as a computer science lab assistant at Carleton College, and internships in data analysis and software development at the City of Boulder, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and Swedish Algae Factory.
