Mark Bakies

Mark Bakies is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and business development. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Management at Journey since June 2018, Mark has held key positions including Proprietor at MLB Capital since 2008 and VP of Business Development & Corporate Strategy at Symbolic IO from April 2014 to January 2016. Mark's career also includes a significant tenure as Director of Product Marketing at Cisco from August 1997 to June 2008 and a role as System Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent from 1989 to 1996. Mark holds a Master of Computer Science in Software Engineering from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
