Omar Al-Busaidi

Omar focuses on all startups consumer and consumer tech. Prior to Social Starts, Omar qualified as a PE attorney focusing on M&A and private fund formation at Weil Gotshal & Manges. He then pivoted to an investor role in a fund of funds focusing on building out the fund’s private equity and venture capital portfolio. His latest professional investing experience was at Thrive Capital. Omar holds a BA in Law and Business Studies from Warwick University in the UK and an MBA from The Wharton School focusing on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy.
