Michal Klempa

Michal Klempa has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Michal started their career as a Linux administrator at Digmia s.r.o. in 2008 and later assumed the role of Linux administrator and Java developer in the same company. In 2011, they transitioned to EEA s.r.o. as a Java developer. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Hadoop Developer at trivia data. In 2018, they served as a Data Engineer at Filmzie. The following year, they became a Data+DevOps Engineer at Naytrolabs. In 2020, they joined relayr as a Backend Developer. Currently, they work as a Lead Big Data Engineer at Joyn GmbH since 2021.

Michal Klempa completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics from 2005 to 2009. Michal then pursued a Master's degree in Software Systems at Charles University from 2009 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the HDP Certified Developer certification from Hortonworks in August 2017, the Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH) certification from Cloudera in August 2016, the HDP Certified Spark Developer certification from Hortonworks in June 2016, and the HDP Certified Administrator certification from Hortonworks in December 2015.
