Chris Morell has extensive experience in brand marketing, content marketing, and social media. Chris began their career in 2003 as an Associate Editor at PSE Magazine (Dimension Publishing), where they wrote and edited various types of magazine content and covered industry events across the world. Chris was promoted to Senior Editor in 2005 at GamePro Media, where they managed monthly magazine content and authored video game strategy guides. In 2008, they joined Sony Computer Entertainment America as a Senior Specialist, Social Media, where they experimented with how to best use the growing social media communities. In 2010, they became the Social Media Manager at Clif Bar & Company. In 2013, they were hired as the Global Social Media and Content Marketing Manager at Fitbit. In 2018, they took on the role of Director, Global Brand at Tala. In 2019, they were appointed as VP of Content at Supergut. Most recently, in 2023, they were appointed as the Head of Brand at Oobli (formerly Joywell Foods).
Chris Morell obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from UC Santa Barbara between 1999 and 2003.
