James Binford

James Binford is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as an Executive Director and Senior Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase since March 2025. In addition, James is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at Dallas, where instruction focuses on graduate-level Cybersecurity courses related to audit and governance. Prior to these roles, James held the position of Director of Offensive Security at Humana, overseeing various security initiatives, and also served as the Director and Business Information Security Officer, enhancing cloud security transition strategies. James's experience includes a role as a Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, facilitating key partnerships and spearheading secure digital transformation efforts, and as Vice President at U.S. Bank, where James developed cloud security strategies. James Binford holds an M.B.A. from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Texas A&M University–Central Texas.
