Andrew Jefferson

Andrew Jefferson is an experienced database professional with a robust background in database design and engineering. Currently serving as the MSSQL Team Lead and Senior Database Design and Engineering at JSE since July 2015, Andrew previously held key roles such as Lead BICC Database Developer, Administrator, and Integration Specialist at Standard Bank, where a significant achievement included automating a global performance management process for 44,000 employees. With extensive experience gained across multiple organizations, including the Financial Intelligence Centre, Absa Capital, Alexander Forbes, and Electrolux, Andrew has developed expertise in system stabilization, performance tuning, database migrations, and custom automation. Andrew holds a DipComSci from London Cambridge University and an International Advanced Diploma in Information Technology from London Metropolitan University.
