Ashish Vaishnava is a seasoned professional in procurement and contracts management within the thermal power sector, currently serving as the Site Commercial Head at JSW Energy Ltd since March 2023. Prior to this role, Ashish held the position of Head Procurement - Corporate at VSLP, where responsibilities included overseeing procurement and contracts for O&M spares and services related to Lignite-based power plants. Experience also includes a managerial role at Torrent Power, focusing on procurement for a 360 MW coal-based thermal power plant, and a deputy managerial position at Hindustan Powerprojects, where procurement for two 600 MW coal-based plants was managed.
