Sk Dhakshinamoorthy

SK Dhakshinamoorthy has extensive work experience in the field of drug discovery and biology. SK served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Integrated Drug Discovery at Jubilant Biosys Limited from 2015 onwards. Prior to that, they were a Director of Discovery Biology & Pharmacology at Curia (formerly AMRI) from 2012 to 2015. SK also held the position of Associate Director of Preclinical Biology at Aurigene Discovery Technologies from 2005 to 2012. Before that, they worked as a Research Fellow in the Discovery Research Division at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research from 2002 to 2005. SK started their career as a Postdoctoral Associate in Pharmacology at Baylor College of Medicine from 1998 to 2002 and as a Junior Research Fellow in Biotechnology at Anna University Chennai from 1993 to 1998. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Consultant at Frazier Healthcare Partners.

SK Dhakshinamoorthy has an extensive education background. SK obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biotechnology from Anna University from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology at Madras Christian College from 1991 to 1993. Their undergraduate education was at Madurai Kamaraj University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from 1988 to 1991.

In terms of further education, Dhakshinamoorthy pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy & Leadership at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 2019 to 2021. During this time, they also participated in the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) program at Yale School of Management, specializing in Economic Analysis of High Tech Industries from September to December 2020.

Additionally, Dhakshinamoorthy has obtained several additional certifications over the years to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications in Technology Entrepreneurship, Elements of AI, Entrepreneurial Negotiations, Great Leaders. Great Teams. Great Results., and Leadership Development Program (LDP).
