Ece Dinçer has a diverse range of work experience in the field of UX/UI design. Ece is currently working at JUCR as a UX/UI Designer since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Wellow.io as a freelance lead UX Designer and Researcher, where they were responsible for designing a digital platform that prioritizes employee well-being and provides convenient HR services. Ece also worked as an Interaction Designer at August & Piela Konstruktiv GbR, where they developed an AR-based semi-virtual lathe setup and a haptic feedback tool. In addition, they conducted literature reviews and research for the company. Before that, they worked as an HCI Intern at August & Piela Konstruktiv GbR. Ece also gained experience as a UX Researcher & Designer at Userspots, where they worked on various projects for companies like Turkish Airlines Holidays, METRO Market Turkey, Denizbank, and Etstur. Ece was responsible for creating information architecture, conducting usability testing, and designing wireframes and prototypes. Ece also gained research experience as a Volunteer Research Assistant at the Cognitive Computational Neuroscience Lab, as well as a participant in the UX Camp'19 organized by Userspots. Ece has also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at METU Neuro Lab, a Translator at UTRLAB, and a Psychology Intern at Binbir Çiçek Montessori Preschool.
Ece Dinçer has a diverse education history. Ece pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology from Middle East Technical University (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi) between 2012 and 2018. As part of their undergraduate studies, they also attended Leuphana University of Lüneburg in 2016 and 2017, focusing on Psychology.
In 2020, Ece Dinçer embarked on a new educational journey by enrolling in two separate Master of Science in Engineering (MSc) programs. The first program is in Human Computer Interaction, offered by Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg. Ece is expected to complete this program between 2020 and 2023. Simultaneously, they are pursuing another MSc program in Human Computer Interaction at Fachhochschule Salzburg, with an expected completion date in 2023.
In addition to their academic pursuits, Ece Dinçer has obtained certifications that have further contributed to their skillset. In January 2019, they received the UX Camp Winter'19 Certificate of Participation from Userspots. Furthermore, in April 2016, they obtained a Certificate of Attendance for completing the Interdisciplinary Design Studio - 2 program at Middle East Technical University (Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi).
