Luka Savic

Luka Savic has a strong background in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry. Luka is currently the Director of Sales and Marketing at Jumeirah Group, where they have been since November 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Cluster Associate Director of Sales - Corporate at the same company from July 2019 to November 2021. Before joining Jumeirah Group, Luka served as a Senior Sales Manager at Al Habtoor City Hotel Collection from December 2018 to July 2019 and at Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai from May 2018 to December 2018. Luka also worked as a Sales Manager at Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai from December 2016 to May 2018 and as a Corporate Sales Manager at Crowne Plaza Dubai from August 2016 to November 2016. Additionally, they gained experience as a Corporate Sales Executive at Crowne Plaza Dubai from April 2015 to August 2016. Luka started their career with an internship at Absolut Time from September 2014 to December 2014, followed by a student role at PwC in 2015. Luka also served as a Sales and Marketing Intern at DeD from June 2012 to December 2012, where they focused on networking with clients and achieving sales growth.

Luka Savic earned a Bachelor's Degree in "IBM" with a minor in "Marketing" from Stamford International University from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma and Higher Diploma in International Business Management from EU Business School from 2010 to 2011. In high school, they completed IGCSE, AS Levels in Economics, French, and Mathematics, and A Levels in Spanish from British International School Belgrade, Nebraska College, and Schiller International School, respectively. Additionally, Luka has obtained certifications such as becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst Candidate (level 1) from PwC's Academy Middle East in 2015, IHG Way of Sales from InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) in 2015, and a Dele (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language)-Diploma de Español C1 from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain in 2010. Luka is also a candidate for an IBM Degree from Laureate Programme.
