Amos Mbugua has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Amos began their career as a Data Analyst intern at Kenya Agricultural Research Institute in 2010, where they focused on data cleaning, entry, and analysis. In 2011, they joined Smollan Group as an Operations Intelligence Analyst, responsible for managing and enhancing data collection systems. Amos then worked at Roundtrip Kenya as a Reporting Supervisor, where they handled business development, proposal writing, and project management.

In 2014, Amos joined Commercial Bank of Africa as a Personal Banking Representative, specializing in customer acquisition. Amos then transitioned to Copia Kenya in 2015, first as a Sales & Marketing Data Analyst, automating reporting and creating dashboards. Later, they became a Business Intelligence Analyst, focusing on customer behavior analysis and campaign evaluation.

Amos's most recent role was at Jumia Kenya, where they served as a Business Intelligence Analyst - Lead. Amos was responsible for using data to identify market trends, develop data reporting tools, perform operational and predictive analysis, and communicate findings to management and cross-functional partners. With a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, Amos has valuable expertise in enhancing organizational efficiencies and improving product performance.

Amos Mbugua obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Statistics from the University of Nairobi from 2007 to 2011. Amos also achieved a certification in Certified Securities Investment Analyst from KASNEB in the field of Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from 2009 to 2010. In addition, they completed their secondary education at Kiambu High School from 2002 to 2005, earning an O-Level degree. Amos has also obtained additional certifications, including Formulas and Finance Functions from Kubicle in 2018 and Certified Public Accountant III from KASNEB in 2014. Amos has partially completed the Certified Securities Investment Analyst program, Part 1, from the Kenya Accountants & Secretaries National Examinations Board.
