Benjamin Shih

Benjamin Shih is currently a Quantitative Trading Intern at DRW, beginning in August 2023, and has previous experience as a Quantitative Trading Intern at IMC Trading and Akuna Capital. Since January 2022, Benjamin has worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Brown University, focusing on operator learning in tempered fractional differential systems under the guidance of George Em Karniadakis and Zhongqiang Zhang. Benjamin has also held roles as a Head/Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for multiple computer science courses. Additionally, Benjamin's athletic background includes competing as a National Team Athlete for the Chinese Taipei Fencing Association, achieving notable rankings and being the first individual international championship medalist for Chinese Taipei. Benjamin has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics-Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Brown University, expected to graduate in 2024.
