Evgeny Panov

Evgeny (Gene) Panov is an accomplished quantitative professional with extensive experience in algorithmic trading and market-making. Since May 2016, Gene has been with Jump Trading LLC, where responsibilities include first-bit ultra-low-latency futures execution, global futures stat arb execution, and the development of flexible A/B testing infrastructure. Previously, Gene held positions as a Desk Strategist at Morgan Stanley and as Operations and Trading personnel at Prime Seven, demonstrating a strong ability to optimize trading operations and strategies. Further experience includes roles as a Quantitative Developer at Prime Seven, Vice President and Quantitative Strategist at Knight Capital Group, and Quantitative Analyst at Citigroup. Gene holds a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from the Russian Academy of Sciences and an MS in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
