David Madrid

David Madrid has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David currently holds the position of Principal Product Manager at JumpCloud since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Technical Product Manager at the same company from September 2019 to October 2022. Before joining JumpCloud, David worked as a Product Owner at SolarWinds from June 2015 to September 2019. David also served as a Software Engineering Manager at Confio Software from June 2011 to June 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Quality Engineer at Oracle from May 2008 to June 2011 and at BEA Systems from March 2001 to May 2008. David started their career as a QA Lead at Blue Fish Development Group from October 1999 to November 2000. David also worked as a Lead Software QA Engineer at Hewlett-Packard from October 1997 to January 2000.

David Madrid attended the University of Northern Colorado from 1992 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce. In addition to their formal education, they obtained various certifications, including the JumpCloud Core Certification from JumpCloud in March 2021, the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in December 2016, and the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Scrum Alliance in October 2015.
