Ricardo F. de Andrade

Ricardo F. De Andrade has gained extensive experience in software engineering and development throughout their career. Ricardo F. is currently working at JumpCloud as a Principal Software Engineer, where they provide technical direction to multiple feature teams and focuses on Single Sign-On (SSO) and RADIUS using a stack that includes Golang, Vue, NodeJS, Docker, and Nomad. Additionally, they collaborate with the CISO team to establish engineering-wide security practices.

Prior to their current role, Ricardo worked at RStudio PBC as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they improved the integration with legacy authentication mechanisms, such as Kerberos and LDAP, and led a team in implementing Single Sign-On capabilities using SAML and OpenID Connect. This initiative greatly increased customer adoption of SSO integration.

Before joining RStudio PBC, Ricardo held the position of Senior Software Developer at Bomgar Corporation. Ricardo F. began as a backend maintainer and desktop developer, gradually taking on more responsibilities. Ricardo F. received an internal award for their exceptional development skills and was tasked with rewriting the authentication/authorization engine for the secure access platform using modern C++.

Ricardo's work experience also includes roles such as Software Engineering Specialist at ThinkBRQ, Senior Solution Consultant at Misys, Senior C++ Developer at Grupo CMA, Base Software Engineer at Provectus Tecnologia, and Senior C/C++ Developer at T-Systems do Brasil. In these positions, they contributed to various software projects and developed expertise in different programming languages and frameworks.

Furthermore, Ricardo worked as a C/C++ Developer at Brisa - Sociedade para desenvolvimento da Tecnologia da Informação, where they developed mobile games and applications and created an object-oriented framework in C++ to enhance team productivity. Ricardo F. also served as a C Developer at Principia Software, where they developed firmware for GPS devices and a service for controlling LED panels.

Ricardo F. De Andrade completed their high school education from 1996 to 1998 at ETE "Lauro Gomes" where they obtained a High School Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. Ricardo F. then pursued higher education at Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
