Rebecca Brown

Rebecca Brown, EdD, is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Senior Researcher and Standards-based Practices Specialist at JumpRope Inc since July 2018. Prior to this role, Rebecca held various leadership positions, including Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment at South Portland School Department from July 2012 to June 2018, and Principal at Dyer Elementary School from July 2010 to July 2012. Rebecca's experience also includes serving as K-12 Principal at Greenville Schools and working as a Research Assistant at both the Education Development Center, Inc. and WGBH. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Curriculum, Teaching, Learning Leadership from Northeastern University, a Master of Education in Technology Integration from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in Liberal Arts from Bowdoin College.
