Cristian Hesselman's work experience includes various roles and positions at different organizations. Cristian started their career as a Ph.D. student at the University of Twente in 2000 and later worked as an Assistant Researcher at Novay (formerly Telematica Instituut), where they focused on developing mechanisms for distributing live video streams to mobile internet devices. Cristian Hesselman completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Twente from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1996, they obtained a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the same university. In addition to their academic degrees, Cristian Hesselman has obtained additional certifications, including a University Teaching Qualification from the University of Twente in March 2023 and a UT English Proficiency for Academic Staff (C2) certification from the same institution in November 2020.
