Alex Robinson

Co-Founder & CEO at Juniper Square

Alex Robinson is the co-founder and CEO of Juniper Square, a software company that helps real estate investors manage their investments. Prior to Juniper Square, Alex was the founding VP of Business Development at New Energy Risk, a company that underwrites complex risks in renewable energy. New Energy Risk was acquired by XL Group in 2013.

Prior to New Energy Risk, Alex was the founder and CEO of GreenDoor, Inc., a financial underwriting platform for PACE renewable energy loans. GreenDoor was a market leader and powered some of the largest PACE programs in the country. The program was unexpectedly discontinued by federal regulators in the summer of 2010, following which the team and assets of GreenDoor were folded into New Energy Risk.

Before their work in the renewable energy sector, Alex worked as a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft from 2002 to 2007.

Alex Robinson has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Spanish Language, Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Washington.
