Megan Livingston

Megan Livingston has extensive experience in the field of biomedical sciences and research. Megan started their career as an undergraduate researcher at Case Western Reserve University in 2010. Megan then went on to work as an NSF REU Research Intern at Louisiana Tech University in 2012 and at the University of Houston in 2011.

In 2013, Megan served as a research intern at The Methodist Hospital System before being awarded a Whitaker Fellowship and becoming a graduate researcher at Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust. There, they focused on studying cardiac stent technologies.

Megan continued their research journey as a research assistant II at Houston Methodist, where they gained experience in drug delivery research, grant preparation, and submission to prestigious institutions like the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense.

In 2016, they joined The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) as a research associate where they developed a model to evaluate bone tissue engineering technologies. Megan then moved on to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 2017 as a graduate research assistant, working on bioenergetics of hematopoietic stem cells.

Most recently, Megan has been working as an assistant product manager in the cell and gene therapy division at Irvine Scientific. Megan then advanced to the position of director of business development before assuming their current role as a senior director of business development at Jurata Thin Film, starting in 2020.

Throughout their career, Megan has demonstrated a strong dedication to research in the biomedical field and has acquired a diverse set of skills and experience.

Megan Livingston holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, they have pursued further studies in the field of Nanotechnology & Regenerative Medicine, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from UCL.
